From First Call to Lifetime Warranty
Our Repair Process
Foundation repair should not be a mystery. Here is exactly what happens at every stage: from your first phone call through the completed repair and beyond. No surprises, no confusion, no guesswork.
Phase 1
Contact & Initial Conversation
It starts with a phone call or form submission. We ask about the symptoms you are seeing: cracks, sticking doors, uneven floors, visible settling. This gives us a preliminary picture so we can send the right team with the right equipment.
- Describe the problems you are noticing
- We ask about your home's age, construction type, and any previous repairs
- We schedule your free on-site inspection at a time that works for you
- No cost, no commitment at this stage
Same-day or next-day scheduling
Phase 2
On-Site Inspection & Diagnosis
Our field team arrives with digital levels, measuring tools, and cameras. We survey your entire foundation, measuring floor elevations at a grid of points to map exactly where and how much the slab has moved. We inspect both interior and exterior for cracks, separation, drainage issues, and other signs of distress.
- Digital elevation survey across the entire foundation footprint
- Crack mapping with measurements and photo documentation
- Exterior perimeter inspection for drainage, grading, and soil conditions
- Crawlspace inspection for pier-and-beam homes (moisture, wood condition, beam alignment)
- Plumbing pressure test if leaks are suspected
60 to 90 minutes for most residential homes
Phase 3
Engineering Review & Repair Plan
The inspection data goes to our engineering team, who analyze the elevation profile, soil conditions, and structural distress patterns. They design a repair plan that addresses the root cause, not just the symptoms. You receive a written scope of work with a diagram showing pier locations, expected lift, and the specific method recommended.
- Elevation data analysis to determine settlement patterns
- Repair method selection (steel piers, helical piers, polyjacking, or combination)
- Pier count and placement diagram based on load paths and settlement zones
- Written scope of work with clear specifications
- Transparent, itemized pricing with no hidden fees
Presented on-site or within 24 to 48 hours
Phase 4
Production Day: The Repair
On production day, our crew arrives with all materials and equipment. For pier installations, we excavate access points around the perimeter, drive piers to refusal depth, and then hydraulically lift the foundation back toward its original position. For polyjacking, we drill small injection ports and fill voids with expanding polyurethane foam.
- Foundation perimeter marked and excavated for pier access
- Piers driven to load-bearing strata (typically 15 to 35 feet in Austin)
- Hydraulic lift to restore elevation where possible
- Real-time elevation monitoring during the lift
- Backfill, cleanup, and site restoration
1 to 3 days for most residential pier jobs; same-day for polyjacking
Phase 5
Post-Repair Verification
After the repair is complete, we take a second full set of elevation readings and compare them to the pre-repair survey. This before-and-after data proves the work was effective and gives you a documented record of the repair. We photograph all completed work and provide a written summary.
- Post-repair elevation survey at the same grid points
- Before-and-after comparison documentation
- Photo documentation of all pier installations and completed work
- Written completion report for your records
- Warranty certificate issued
Completed on the final day of repair
Phase 6
Warranty & Ongoing Support
Your repair comes with a transferable warranty that covers the work for the life of the structure. If you sell the home, the warranty transfers to the new owner, which is a significant selling point for buyers in Central Texas. We are here for the long term: if you ever have questions, notice something new, or want us to take a look, call us.
- Transferable lifetime warranty on steel pier installations
- Warranty documentation for real estate transactions
- Annual check-in available upon request
- Priority scheduling for warranty clients
- Dedicated support line for existing customers
Lifetime coverage, transferable to future owners
Our Commitments
What you can expect at every stage
These are not marketing promises. They are operational standards that every member of our team follows on every single project.
No Surprise Pricing
The price we quote is the price you pay. If we discover something unexpected during the repair that changes the scope, we discuss it with you before proceeding. You always approve costs before we incur them.
We Leave It Clean
Foundation repair involves digging, drilling, and heavy equipment. We take that seriously. Our crews backfill all excavations, compact the soil, replace landscaping where possible, and leave your property in better condition than we found it.
Plain-Language Communication
We explain everything in terms you can understand. No jargon, no scare tactics, no pressure to decide on the spot. You will know exactly what is wrong, what we recommend, and why. If you want a second opinion, we encourage it.
Documented Everything
Every inspection includes elevation data, photos, and a written report. Every repair includes before-and-after measurements and a completion report. You will never wonder what was done or whether it worked.
Production Day
What to expect when the crew arrives
On the day of your repair, a crew of 3 to 5 technicians arrives with all materials and equipment pre-loaded. Here is a typical production day for a residential pier installation so you know exactly what to expect.
Homeowner Prep Checklist
A few things you can do before production day to help things go smoothly:
- Clear 4 feet of space along any exterior walls where piers will be installed
- Move vehicles out of the driveway and away from the work zone
- Trim back any bushes or landscaping tight against the foundation
- Secure pets in a safe area away from the work zone
- Remove fragile items from shelves and mantels inside (the lift can cause minor vibration)
- Make sure there is access to an outdoor electrical outlet and water spigot
- Let your neighbors know there will be equipment and noise for the day
